A New Judge For American Idol? Yep, His Name is God

Maybe you haven't read about it lately or haven't heard, but American Idol is searching for someone to replace Simon Cowell after this season finishes. Who will be the Next American Idol Judge? God?

According to our reports, Simon Cowell will be leaving the TV Show and will be working on his baby "The X Factor". This will leave an opening on the Judges Panel of American Idol and there is already talk that perhaps Howard Stern would be replacing him.

As many of you are aware, Paula Abdul quit the show this summer due to a salary dispute and was replaced by Ellen Degeneres. It appears that so far, people are welcoming the new addition to American Idol with open arms. Although many will miss Paula Abdul because of the great love she showed the contestants I am sure they will continue to watch the TV show with Ellen as the replacement.

The news that Simon Cowell will be leaving is a much bigger seat to fill as far as I am concerned. How on earth could anyone replace someone like Simon Cowell? He is notorious for his brutal honesty with the contestants and the feelings for him are mixed. You either love him or hate him and many people believe he is the true star of the show. Where would we be without the British humor that comes out of his mouth week after week? He will truly be missed greatly.

So, who could possibly replace him? Some people have been rumoring that Howard Stern was going to take his place. Apparently Howard Stern denies these allegations.

So you may be asking yourself why on earth this article is entitled: "A New Judge for American Idol? Yep, His Name is God"?

Week 2 of Season 9 on American Idol had the boys singing first. One contestant named, Jermaine Sellers was told by Simon Cowell that he would be surprised if he made it to the next week to which Jermaine indicated that because he knows God, he has no worries about it. He will be here next week! Simon replied that the phone lines wouldn't be necessary then if that were the case.

How can Christians even compete on American Idol and why do they think they are automatically going to win because they are Christians?

Although I truly believe that God is in control of my life that doesn't mean that I expect him to let me be the winner of American Idol! So according to many of the Christians on American Idol, God is the new judge. Aren't you glad you know now?
